CPA Exam to Debut Internationally in August of 2011

Finally, the news that international CPA exam hopefuls have been waiting for is here! Released yesterday by the AICPA, the Uniform CPA Examination will be offered internationally this August in the following countries: Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Japan.

Testing in these international locations will be open to long-standing residents of the listed countries, along with citizens and long-term residents of Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. If chosen, U.S. Citizens living abroad may also sit for the exam in any location.

Happy First CPA Exam Testing Day of 2011 (Almost)!

2011 is finally here and that means an almost all-new exam with a new research format, shorter simulations, and reshuffled content revamped to include international reporting and auditing standards.
